As the creator of the Rethinking Leadership programmes and author of The Mindful Approach to Working Life, I bring over 30 years of experience walking alongside leaders at every stage of their journey.

Yet too often, holistic approaches to leadership are seen as something ‘soft’, something left for wellbeing retreats or dismissed as “woo-woo.”
I’m here to change that narrative.

My Story
Our stories shape us – and mine is no exception.
On one path, I built a successful corporate career, climbing the ladder into senior leadership roles. I led transformational programmes across sectors and countries, gaining a deep understanding of the pressures and complexities leaders face every day.But there was another path, too.
One where I could feel the cost of staying solely in the corporate lane – the warning signs of potential burnout, the creeping sense of disconnection.
So, I turned inward. I did the deep work to rediscover my balance.
I trained as a psychotherapist and hypnotherapist, and immersed myself in modalities like Voice Dialogue, Psychosynthesis, Psychodrama, Gestalt, and NLP. Alongside this, I leaned into the wisdom of the East – becoming a Mindfulness Teacher, Reiki Healer, Master Executive Coach, and Master Team Coach.
Over time, I wove these threads together. Inspired by Red Shoes ( more about that later) Today, this integrative approach is at the heart of how I work with leaders – helping them stretch perspectives, reimagine leadership, and unlock lasting transformation.

Those Red Shoes
Years ago, a spiritualist told me that red shoes would be significant in my life – a symbol of the journey back to myself. I laughed it off at the time.
Fast forward to the moment I was designing the Rethinking Leadership programmes, and there it was – the memory, the metaphor, and The Wizard of Oz. Dorothy’s red shoes. The ones that were with her all along – the key to finding her way home.
Goosebumps? Absolutely. A wink from the universe? Without a doubt.
And that is exactly what the Rethinking Leadership and Collective Ascent programmes are designed to do – help leaders, like you, realise that you already have what you need. The courage, the wisdom, the heart. But somewhere along the way, amid the complexities of modern leadership, it can get buried.

Why I Do What I Do
